Happy Halloween everybody! Enjoyed your night? I know I did. We didn't have many trick-or-treaters this year. Over the past few years, it's been getting slower and slower, so I figure that within the next 2 the amount will be reduced to just the neighborhood kids. Though, we almost ran out of candy. My dad bought 4 bags, and about 9 piece out of the total amount from all 4 was left. Probably would've been more if dad hadn't decide I was to give each kid 2 pieces. I was doing 1 piece per kid. I wanted to make sure there would be enough for everyone that came to the door. *sigh*
On a better note, we had spooky music this year! Since my parents got Verizon Fios we have the Music Choice channels. One such channel is the "Sound of the Seasons". The only music channel that play holiday music. Suggested we put that on, and voila! Spooky music! Not all of it was spooky, but it still was cool. I finally got to heard "Purple People Eater"! That was a funny song.
Well, that's all I have to say today. Hope you had a good, and safe, Halloween!
P.S Did you know that the name "Halloween" came from the words "Hallow" meaning holy, and "e'en" meaning night? Pretty cool!

Youtube (again)
Hello again readers!! Yes, I know I already did a post on YouTube, but I want to do another one. And this time, I'm going to be more specific on the topic. Now, we all know YouTube has a lot of different kinds of videos that get posted. Movies, shows, vlogs, etc. I happen to have 4 different particular channels on YouTube that I love. Nostalgia Critic, Death Battle, Watcher of the 2000s, and HISHE AKA, How It Should Have Ended. These are my specific topic of the day.
Nostalgia Critic. He has very many videos, is funny, and seems to be a actual critic. Has talked about many movies, and has done a review for several t.v shows. He has a female counterpart called the Nostalgia Chic. She has done review for things that are too feminine for the Critic to do. She doesn't make her videos funny, but they're still good nevertheless. Both do a marvelous job. And if the Critic gets to read this, I suggest watching Death Battle videos. Just as a nice change of pace I think. And HISHE. HISHE is funny.
Death Battle. Sponsored by Screwattack, it is a series where the 2, for lack of a better term, hosts take 2 characters, analyze them, and have the duke it out to the death. It's awesome! Going by the handles Wiz and Boomstick, they have done some interesting videos. Spiderman vs Batman, Sonic vs Mario. The biggest one would have to be Goku vs Superman. In my opinion, that one was poorly done. Superman was way over powered. Goku was not given the proper credit due to him. But, I guess it depends on you preference. My guess, they were Superman fans. But, I digress.
HISHE. An acronym for How It Should Have Ended. An interesting series where the creator(s) do there take on how they think a movie should have ended. More of a satirical approach, but still good. And it's not all movies. A few videogames have been done, and a few non movie satirical videos. A few are titles Super Cafe, which feature Superman and Batman in some cafe. Also, if the movie is a superhero movie, it always ends with the Super Cafe. HISHE. Always a good time.
The Watcher of the 2000s. The last of my 4. Slightly similar to the Nostalgia Critic, the, um, host has so far reviewed shows. A couple of movies. And it's all animated. Plus, the last few videos have a side story. Something related to something that he had done in a couple early videos. I would suggest watching the series from the beginning if you want to watch the series. Though, beware the ones for Courage the Cowardly Dog videos. Those are really freaky.
So that's my post for today. Please leave a comment and tell me what you think, or what you want me to blog about. Sayonara!!

Stuff on the Web
First off, I would like to apologize to all my readers out there. I am not good at posting, and when I do it is usually been a couple of months after the last one. I am sorry. Please don't hate me that. I do try!
So, on to the topic! I am a manga otaku. I know that it is an offensive term in Japan, but to me, and it seems many others as well, I embrace it. To me, it's just a fact that I am an otaku of manga. Because of that, I frequent online manga sites. The site I usually frequent happens to have ads at the bottom of each page of a manga when you read one. Some of those ads are for a site called FunnyMamma. It is a site that seems to be for posting pictures people make, or just want to share, and others can comment. I usually look at ones for manga. Manga otaku, remember?
So, we know that when 2 or more people of different opinions get together, arguments tend to break out. Even if it is about one thing in particular, or just similar things. Well, I have seen several of these pics ( called internet memes for whatever reason) that happen to have massive amounts of peoples comments (only using Facebook though), and I find that the more comments, the more likely you'll find people having comment wars. That's right. I said comment wars. Some people get so into it, and I find it hilarious.
Now, don't get me wrong. I don't mean I find people fighting is funny. I just find people's posts and the way they react to another's comment kinda funny. I happen to be able to kind of hear how something is being said when written sometimes. Or, in this case, typed. And the tones some people use can make a comment war even funnier. I know it's wrong, but it is still pretty funny to me!
So what makes a person start a comment war? To me, I've notice that it most often is something that one enjoys a lot. For example: the most recent memes that I saw was one featuring Goku, from Dragonball Z series, and Minato, Naruto's father from Naruto. Both are manga/anime characters. It was a basic "who is more powerful" kind of meme. The way these people battled over who is the more powerful one! Oh my God, the amount of comments that was there! Wow. And a lot of the comments were replies to one persons comment! I have to say, these people seem to be uber fans. I may love the Dragonball series, but I would never do something like that!
So, to end this post. A word of caution. Beware of uber fans when viewing an internet meme!! >^.^<

End of Summer Vacation
So it's the end of vacation. Back to school time! Yay! (Just kidding) Done your summer reading yet? Or are you the type of person that leaves it til the last minute? I remember summer reading. I had always gotten the A-list book out of the way quickly so that I could get to my B-)list picks as quickly as I could. I always had several picks from the B-list. 'Cause I'm such a bookworm and all. I'm gonna miss summer reading. *sigh*
Speaking of school related things, is anyone actually looking forward to school? I just graduated this year so... Well, I am kind of wishing I could go back. Weird right? Don't get me wrong. I was never one who loved to do school work or get up early just so I could do work when I wanted to sleep. But, there are so many things I want to do that I can only do at school. Go to the library, read through study, enjoy the new books the librarian got, eat lunch with my crazy group of friends. *Sigh* It's those kinds of thing I miss.
Great. Now I'm all nostalgic and stuff. Here's some pictures of cute animals to end this post.
